Edmies Refund & Cancellation Policy

Edmies values transparency, professionalism, and legal compliance. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may or may not be granted for services rendered through Edmies. By enrolling in our programs or using our services, you agree to the following terms.
1. General Policy

Fees once paid towards course enrollment, registration, assessment, admin charges, or resource materials are non-refundable, except as explicitly stated in this policy.

Edmies provides detailed course content, demo classes (if applicable), and counseling sessions to ensure informed decisions before enrollment.
2.Eligibility for Refund
Refunds may be considered only under the following conditions:
a.Course Cancellation by Edmies

If Edmies cancels a course before the batch commencement, a 100% refund of the course fee paid will be processed within 14 working days.
B.Duplicate Payment

In case of an accidental duplicate payment, the excess amount will be refunded after verification. Processing may take up to 10 working days.

C.Technical Errors on Edmies Side

If a technical error on Edmies’ platform results in a failed transaction but your payment is received, a refund may be initiated only after verification.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be entertained under the following conditions:

Discontinuation or withdrawal by the student after course enrollment or after the batch has started.

Change of mind or dissatisfaction with course delivery after course access has been granted.

Attendance issues, poor performance, or non-participation.
-
Personal reasons, including job changes, health issues, travel, etc.

Payment made to any third-party or agent not officially authorized by Edmies.
-
Delay or failure in placement assistance — our placement support is effort-based, not a guaranteed job promise.
4. Course Transfer / Batch Change Policy

Requests for course or batch transfer are subject to management approval and availability of seats.

Fees paid are non-transferable between students.
5. Online Payment Failures
If payment is debited but not credited to Edmies' account due to a payment gateway failure, the payer must:

Contact their bank, UPI provider, or payment app.

Follow their refund escalation process.
Edmies holds no responsibility for failed online transactions where payment is not received at our end. No service will be provided unless payment is confirmed in our system.
6. Third-Party Platform Transactions

Students or parents using Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, Razorpay, Credit/Debit cards, etc., are advised to verify transaction success.

Edmies is not liable for transaction delays, reversals, or technical failures arising from these platforms.
7. Termination by Edmies
If a student is terminated for misconduct, including but not limited to:

Abusive language
-
Defamation or misrepresentation of the institution

Violation of Edmies' Code of Conduct

Malicious activities on social media
No refund will be applicable, and access to all services will be revoked immediately.

Edmies may take up to 15 working days to process valid and approved refunds.
9. Jurisdiction

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
10. Final Authority

The decision of the Edmies Management on any refund request will be final and binding.

We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time to comply with evolving legal and regulatory frameworks.

By enrolling in any course, you:
